By accessing or using the Songwriting School ("the Service"), part of the Main Act platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
The Songwriting School is one of five sibling schools on the Main Act platform — alongside Studio Mix, Live Sound, Vocals, and Repertoire — that share a single account, subscription, and belt progression. Songwriting School provides daily structured sessions, interactive drills, AI-powered feedback, and a Song Lab workspace. The Service is offered in Free and Pro tiers.
You must provide a valid email address and create a password. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
Pro plans are billed monthly ($24.95/month), yearly ($142/year), or as a one-time lifetime purchase ($495). Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled. You may cancel anytime through your Account page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then.
Monthly and yearly Pro plans include a 7-day free trial. You will not be charged during the trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your payment method will be charged.
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on all paid plans. If you are not satisfied, contact us within 30 days of your purchase for a full refund. Lifetime purchases are eligible for a refund within 30 days.
You retain full ownership of all content you create using the Service, including lyrics, songs, melodies, and notes. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your creative work. You grant us a limited license to store and process your content solely to provide the Service.
AI-powered features (lyric feedback, Ask Sensei, co-writing) use third-party AI models. AI output is provided as suggestions only — you are responsible for the final creative decisions. We do not guarantee the accuracy, originality, or quality of AI-generated feedback.
You may not: (a) use the Service for unlawful purposes; (b) attempt to reverse-engineer the Service; (c) share your account credentials; (d) use automated tools to access the Service; (e) harass, abuse, or harm other users.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any loss of data, revenue, or creative work. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We take your privacy seriously and do not sell your personal data.
We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support.
