What you are training
Start with a short fictional situation and write another version using an action, object or sound. Read the two versions aloud. The detail might give you something to picture; it might also leave out information the direct statement made clear. You can revise before moving to the next prompt. At the end, review your five pairs and decide which choices you would keep. The optional starting point is a question about the situation, not a finished lyric to copy. Use Revise to return to your line, or keep it and continue. The final screen shows each original beside your rewrite. This is writing practice with no automatic quality score or prescribed winning version. You do not need an account to try it.
